Description

Crispy Cottage Cheese Chips are a delicious, protein-packed snack made by baking a savory mixture of cottage cheese and Parmesan into crunchy, golden rounds.   • 1 cup cottage cheese (full fat or low fat)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Cooking spray or parchment paper


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray.

2️⃣ Prepare the mixture: In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.

3️⃣ Shape the chips: Using a spoon, scoop small dollops of the mixture onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Flatten each dollop slightly with the back of the spoon to form thin rounds.

4️⃣ Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the chips are crisp.

5️⃣ Cool: Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet. They will crisp up more as they cool.

 

6️⃣ Serve: Enjoy these crispy cottage cheese chips as a healthy snack on their own or with your favorite dip.

  • For extra crispiness, try using well-drained cottage cheese or pat it dry with a paper towel before mixing.
