Instructions
Making Delicious Philly Cheesesteak Pizza is easy and fun. Follow these simple steps to create your pizza masterpiece:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
2. Prepare the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sauté until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. Roll Out the Crust: If using a store-bought pizza crust, roll it out to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet. If making homemade dough, stretch it out to your desired thickness.
5. Assemble the Pizza: Place the rolled-out crust on the baking sheet or pizza stone. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the crust.
6. Add the Steak and Veggies: Layer the sautéed steak over the cheese, followed by the sautéed onions and peppers.
7. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and provolone cheese over the top of the steak and vegetables.
8. Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
9. Cool and Slice: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into pieces and prepare for serving.
