Garlic Butter Salmon & Spinach: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

  • Author: Chef Ethan Sam
  • Total Time: 19 minute

Ingredients

– 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
– 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 6 cups fresh spinach
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Salt, to taste
– Black pepper, to taste
– Lemon wedges, for serving
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Creating Garlic Butter Salmon & Spinach is straightforward if you follow these simple steps:

1. Prepare the ingredients: Gather all your ingredients, ensuring the salmon is thawed if previously frozen.
2. Season the salmon: Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets to enhance flavor.
3. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
4. Cook the salmon: Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
5. Flip the salmon: Carefully turn the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
6. Remove the salmon: Once done, transfer the salmon to a plate and cover it loosely with foil to keep it warm.
7. Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
8. Add spinach: Add the fresh spinach to the skillet with the garlic and toss until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
9. Finishing touches: Stir in the lemon juice, adding salt and pepper to taste.
10. Serve: Plate the wilted spinach and place the salmon fillets on top. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce over the top and garnish with chopped parsley.
11. Optional: Serve with lemon wedges for an extra zing when enjoyed.
