This Marinated Tomato and Burrata Salad is a vibrant blend of sweet, juicy tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a tangy balsamic glaze. Simple, fresh, and bursting with flavor—it’s the perfect summer starter or side.
Ingredients
For the salad:

2 cups cherry or heirloom tomatoes, halved

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp red wine vinegar or lemon juice

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper to taste

1–2 balls of burrata cheese

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
For the balsamic glaze:

½ cup balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate the tomatoes: In a bowl, toss halved tomatoes with olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let marinate at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
2️⃣ Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, simmer balsamic vinegar and honey (if using) over medium heat until reduced by half and thickened, about 8–10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
3️⃣ Assemble the salad: Spread marinated tomatoes on a serving platter. Tear the burrata and place on top. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
4️⃣ Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh basil and a pinch of sea salt. Serve immediately with crusty bread or as a side dish.
